The two young women who alternate visiting him, Hollie and Nellie, are as sweet as can be and Clifford really likes them. Because our dog bit so hard and so often when picked up, I was reduced to wearing oven mitts for protection. In June of 2003 he donated a Labrador Retriever to the department which he trained for narcotic detection work. Comment: Molly Gabby Bob and Doree: Mom was a little hesitant about getting us a pet sitter. She didn’t like the idea of leaving us alone in the house. However we barked her into it as we didn’t want to make the VERY long drive to Dallas. Your sitter was very nice. She told mommy we were very well behaved but I’m sure she fibbed a little. We can be very mouthy when we don’t get our way. Mommy was glad to see us when we got home, but then she drug us all the way to Rockport,TX. It took almost FIVE hours because some road was closed. Comment: Jack didn’t realize when we were training Molly and then Gracie a year later that our visiting during training would save Gracie’s life. Sat. night (around midnight) Gracie found a rat bait outside and ingested part of it. Jack had told me when they work with police dogs they always carry peroxide in their kits. If the narcotic dog should break through a bag they find you have to make sure none goes into their system. You squirt the peroxide down their throat, everything in their stomach will come up, and then you follow through with water. The vet added an hour after the peroxide give them a piece of bread. Three days later there was sunshine so Molly, Gracie and Judy went to walk in the park thanks to what I learned from Jack. I cannot begin to thank Jack enough!!!

I now have another sheltie, and although I don’t need their services daily as before, any time I call they are ready and willing to help out.

Having three cats, it’s always so hard to leave them locked in a cage at the vet’s office with barking dogs and strange surroundings. They always seem so traumatized by the whole experience. I have been using their service for about 4 years and it has always been to take care of my cats, but this time I was asking them to take care of my 4 cats and 8 birds! The birds were left behind at my house when my son came home for Christmas last year. I’m not really a bird person but I have come to love them and wanted them to be well taken care of. Our sitter did everything I do and then some… the birds are very messy and tend to scatter seeds everywhere. I had just thought I would clean it all up when I returned, but our sitter Lisa did a great job of feeding and providing clean water AND cleaning up all the mess the birds tend to make. I was very pleased. Even the cats seemed happy when we returned and they always sulk for a few days when we get back. Overall Privileged Pets did a great job nd I would recommend them to anyone wanting their pets cared for while they are away!!

Comment: I also wanted to let you know how wonderful Anne-Marie was. I was in Hawaii for my wedding and honeymoon and this was the first time I had ever used a pet sitting service. I was getting a little nervous about the hurricane but Anne-Marie was giving me daily updates via email, text messages and phone calls which put my mind at ease. She was at my house checking on my boys everyday even though she didn’t have power. She even offered to take them to her house if my power did not come back on. Comment: I’d like to tell you about two very good friends; Jack and Fiona Richards. Jack and I became fast friends years ago, when we were both working as K9 handlers on different departments. We spent a lot of time together training with our K9’s. I transferred to Amarillo in 1999, but Jack and I have stayed in touch over the years. When Hurricane Ike hit, I was deployed to Houston to work. We had made arrangements for trailers, cook shacks and so forth, but they were delayed nearly 48 hours, and we realized we had no food, and no place to sleep. I called Jack and told him I was in town working…and was homeless. I was told immediately not to even ask, and was given directions to Jack and Fiona’s home. I was given a spare bedroom, food from the kitchen, a key to the house, and a kennel for Ziego. Jack and Fiona put up with my 5:30 AM departures and my frequent 2:30 AM arrivals back at the house. I cannot describe as eloquently as I would like about their kindness and hospitality. But to those of you reading this, I just want to tell Jack and Fiona, “God bless and keep both of you.” Both Jack and Fiona are the kind of people that step up and are counted when things get rough. Comment: We recently moved from Charlotte, NC to Fulshear and our pets have always been kept by family. They are very spoiled. With family 17 hours away and the need to be able to travel back home without the stress and worry, Privileged Pets was recommended to me.
When Desiree walked into my house and our 8 year old rat Terrier Max decided he loved her, I knew I would have no worries. Max is our grumpy old man and usually my adult daughter has to keep him. He won’t eat or go out for anyone else. We also have three other dogs and a cat. Our other dogs are two old ladies and a young lady, who just adored Desiree! Our cat, well he is a cat. Feed him and let him come and go as he pleases, and you are great.
Our first weekend back home was stress free! We returned to find our home just as we left it and all of the animals happy. None of them appeared to have any separation anxiety from us leaving!
Finding Priviledged Pets was a blessing! I know I can leave at a moment’s notice and everyone and everything will be expertly cared for. We are the “Priviledged” ones!

He is a chow mix and he can be difficult to care for, but the team at Privileged Pets took great care of him during our trip. We opted for ”in-home” pet sitting and prior to our trip, Candace and Frank came out to our house to make sure our dog was comfortable with them. Comment: I was very blessed when I found Jack and Fiona Richards with Privileged Pets per recommendation from a friend of mine in Houston. I had just acquired a Golden Retriever 8 week old puppy (Duke) and was working full time. From the moment I met the folks at Privileged Pets I knew I had hit the jackpot of dog sitting/boarding/training!! Their professionalism, care, attention and love they give our animals is by far the best. To see my dog now a 10 month old run out of the car when I am dropping him off at Privileged Pets and being so happy to see everyone there is a huge indication as a dog owner that my pet is being treated to the high standards. Their facilities whether rain or shine are always clean, smell clean and I am a neat freak so this is another great indication of this business. Another great indicator is when I pick him up he always smells clean and not that typical boarding place funky smell. Fiona and Jack along with Desiree, Penny and the crew have taken care of my Duke since he was 8 weeks old through pet sitting, doggie day care, boarding and training. They have helped me raise this pup who is now becoming a great dog that is accustomed to everyone and any dog or size. Couldn’t have selected a better place to help me take care of my Duke and teach me how to be a better dog owner. I highly recommend Privileged Pets to any pet owner and I usually do not recommend anyone so this says a lot about my personal experience with them.
