Celebrating over 30 years experience in business we are insured & bonded. Offering expert pet care services, keeping them safe and happy with in-home pet care including but not limited to, dog walking, cat care, reptiles & farm animals & pet to vet transportation.
Privileged Pets was founded by Fiona Richards in 1995 as a home pet care service, catering to pet owners whose busy lifestyle warrant extra attention for pets at home. Daily walks, lunchtime walks, care of pets while their owners are away on vacation or on business trips. Those services give the customers peace of mind that their “loved ones” are given proper, loving care in the comfort of their own home.
Fiona, along with several qualified sitters, have over 100 years' combined pet care experience. Privileged Pets was awarded runner up in 1997 as Pet Sitter of the Year by Pet Sitters International, of which they are members of Houston Pet Talk readers for 3 years in a row, voted Privileged Pets Best in Show #1 Home Pet Care Provider for 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Owner Fiona Richards started this business in 1995. She was traveling for work and realized her true calling was caring for others' pets as they travel. Fiona and her husband Jack were honored to be nominees for the 2001 annual Citizen for Animal Protection Celebrity Paws Gala. Fiona served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President for the Katy Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association from 1996 to 1999; she was selected as Woman of The Year in 1998. We are serious animal lovers who have established our name and reputation as dependable in the community. We are hands-on with day-to-day operations and remain available to customers whenever they need us.
Services are not limited to dogs & cats, however. Privileged Pets also cares for horses, cattle, birds, fish, puppies & whelping bitches as well as exotics.
What about when you have to take your pet to the vet for shots, well checks or post-op checkup? Privileged Pets offers Pet transportation.
Educating the community is high on the priority list for Privileged Pets, stressing the importance of a well-trained dog as well as immunizations, spaying & neutering of pets.
